I am so honored that I got asked to paint this... They have asked me over 2 years ago, knowing that they will one day have a Coffee House in Sun Prairie, they just didn't know where... It had to be the right place and time, and it certainly is. Such a pretty place, so airy and cheery, more like a French Bistro, and the mural had to reflect that. The owners definitely had a specific design in mind and I was happy to learn to paint something new for me. It was supposed to be not "perfect", like a loosely painted fine art painting. I actually researched and painted several at home to prepare :). I love how it turned out, it is pleasant, relaxing, and just creates such a nice atmosphere.
